Job Description

IT Portfolio Manager: IT / Business Change - Luton - Up to £80,000

Our client a FTSE 100 Global e-commerce organisation who operate in over 180 countries are seeking an IT Portfolio Manager with a proven track record of project delivery.

You will focus on ensuring successful delivery of the projects within the assigned portfolio and working closely with the Business Change function and Business Leads to deliver change.

You will be managing a team of up to 15-20 direct reports and will and be responsible for their line management

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience of managing portfolios of IT projects and Programmes
  • Proven track record of managing Application Development and Infrastructure Upgrade projects
  • Experience driving IT/Business change agenda
  • Experience of direct line management of Project Managers and Business Analysts
  • Ability to see the big picture and think strategically, analyse complex Business requirements and IT delivery options and be able to translate them into actionable deliverables
  • First-hand experience and knowledge of IT project delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
