The Regional Process Manager Account-to-Report (AtR) within the Region Europe PMO department supports the Head of Account-to-Report (A2R) Process Management - Region Europe (m/f) to drive the Account-to-Report (GL, Reporting and FA processes) Process and Transformation Management and is closely aligned with the Global Process Owner for Account-to-Report as well as the European Head of Account-to-Report Service Delivery. This includes the processes executed within the local country Finance teams.

The Regional Process Manager Account-to-Report (AtR) supports the Head of Account-to-Report (A2R) Process Management - Drive process standardization and implementation of transformation projects for the AtR end-to-end processes for Europe (excl. France):
* Manage the Account-to-Report end-to-end processes on a regional level: responsible for the consistency with the global core model and the detailed harmonization (mainly process levels 4- 6) of processes across the region Europe (aligned with regional process requirements)
* Identify, address and align necessary innovations and transformation initiatives as part of the AtR End-to-End process (to shape global/ regional roadmaps)
* Manage global and regional transformation projects (incl. IS / IT implementations as e.g.Trintech Cadency) & continuous improvement initiatives applying Lean principles
* Support defining and implementing the AtR global operating model for the region Europe
* Collaborate closely with AtR process champions within local Finance
* Manage an indirect team of Process Experts for AtR
* Ensure prioritization in line with resource requirements and availability on a regional level
* Determine and submit budget and resources needed to achieve project's goals, get those means and get approval for project launch
* Effectively communicate project deliverables to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and ensure understanding and buy-in

As a project leader: responsibility to monitor internal ITS budgets and/or budgets that may include leading local project team members and third party providers

  • Six Sigma Green belt certification (or higher) is a plus
    * Relevant certification in project/ program management is a plus

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
    * Fluent in French (written and spoken) is a plus

  • >4 years direct work experience in Account-to-Report
    * Background in effectively managing the Account-to-Report process operationally / experience as head of GL on country level is a plus
    * Track record in driving and managing process standardization and improvement projects (in the AtR area) across countries
    * Track record of having effectively managed tool implementations (e.g. Trintech Cadency) across countries
    * Experience in working in a Shared Services environment/ BPO provider is a plus
    * Background as an auditor within an external or internal audit environment is a plus
    * International background with exposure to multicultural environments is a plus

  • Sound understanding of Account-to-Report process
    * Good project management skills (Ability to identify problems and define solutions incl. implementation plans in a structured manner)
    * Good understanding of common Information System (IS) solutions used within in the context of the end-to-end AtR process.
    * Personality with strong management and delivery skills, focused on results
    * Very good communicator with an ability to discuss at senior executive level within and externally
