Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Drive independently organizational and process transformation as well as implementation of a global Source-to-Procure template with focus on procurement processes on a SAP ARIBA and SAP S/4 Hana platform
  • Senior level of stakeholder management is essential
  • Continuous improvement and development of Source-to-Pay process template. Monitoring and evaluation, selection and implementation of new market standards, developments and best practices
  • Ensure governance over process design and specifications for business processes and system transformation and manage compliance issues in the area of Source-to-Procure
  • Independent management of (international) project teams including independent preparation, implementation and follow-up of project milestones and complex workshops
  • Act as Functional Business Expert in GBS and drive comprehensive integration topics with Procurement, MDM, AP, A2R and SCM

Requirements

  • Business Administration degree or similar
  • Sound knowledge in sourcing and procurement processes, organizations and systems ideally based on several years of working experiences in a sourcing/procurement organization
  • Several years of experience in business process transformation in the areas of Source-to-Procure; profound knowledge of procurement application within SAP S/4 Hana as well as SAP ARIBA is very appreciated
  • Flexibility and agility to cope with challenging priorities in the area of Source-to-Procure; solution-driven mind-set
  • Extensive experience in project management and in the guidance of international project teams. Ability to manage complex, large scale initiatives in the area of sourcing, direct and indirect procurement
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry and related compliance rules and requirements (e.g. GxP, Computer System Validation)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a variety of communication settings and styles as well as the ability to make decisions in a timely manner
  • Willingness to travel on regular basis (>30%) - internationally minded
  • The international nature of the task requires being fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages would be an advantage
