Programme Manager required. A Programme Manager is required by one of Montash's clients, who are a leader in the retail world, on an initial six month contract based in Hampshire. The Programme Manager must be commercially focussed and responsible for change delivery programmes whilst managing consolidated views of the demand and delivery portfolio of work.
The Programme Manager will have excellent communications skills and experience managing high-level stakeholders - allowing planning of projects, allocation of resources and a clear overview of all projects to help deliver business plans.
The Programme Manager will champion the implementation and continuous improvement within Programmes, Projects and Change Management disciplines, including all aspects of governance, across the organisation. The Programme Manager will be responsible for establishing requirements for the implementation of significant changes in organisational mission, business functions and process, organisational roles and responsibilities, and scope or nature of service delivery.
The Programme Manager will maintain the business case for funding the programme and confirm continuing business viability of the programme at regular intervals, while also co-ordinating the analysis and response to quantified risks and their mitigation and contingency plans.
The Programme Manager will have the following skills and experience:
- Managing a portfolio of key strategic business programmes in the region of £2m+ and/or in excess of 1.5 years duration
- Management of either a highly complex business programme or at least several concurrent projects through full lifecycle
- Must have direct experience of managing multi-functional or matrix programme or project teams across multiple geographies
- Direct experience of balancing multiple projects and business priorities and demands
