Programme Manager required. Montash are looking for a Programme Manager to join one of their clients, who are a global investment bank based in London, on an initial three month contract.

The Programme Manager will have more than 15 years experience in Finance and Software Development and someone with extended experience in development practices, architecture, offshoring who has a really good understanding of new development practices across the IT industry (Agile, DevOps, Continuous Delivery).

The team that the Programme Manager will be going in to are accountable for the definition of official risk policies, guidelines and procedures, as well as the quantification and monitoring of risks taken by the various business lines, to ensure alignment with risk appetite and policies.

Within Risk Systems, the Risk Systems Development team is in charge of developing the IT application, software, interfaces and tools - allowing the Risk practitioners to analyse and manage the market, counterparty and credit risks taken by the bank.

The main objectives for the Programme Manager include: Organisation Efficiency, Digitalisation and Internationalisation. The overall budget for the transformation is currently estimated to be in the range of 1 million Euros.

The Programme Manager's duties will include:

  • Refining the high level target
  • Building an associated roadmap, based on technical and process transformation, to achieve those targets
  • Specifying in more details the different piece of work identified in the roadmap
  • Designing a detailed plan with the appropriate resourcing and skills to support the transformation
