Montash have been engaged by a Global FTSE 100 Company to source a Technical Project Manager with experience in Network Transition and Transformation

The IT Project Manager will have specific responsibility for delivery of Transition and Transformation migration of multi-site Contact Centres and Retail technical solutions.

The IT PM will work closely with IT Suppliers, Project Manager and Business Analysts to identify and manage key activities and dependencies required to achieve successful migration.

The IT PM will develop and maintain project plans and other key project artefacts, managing timescales, resource requirements, milestones, risks, issues, change control and progress.

Following completion of the RFP process, given the volume interactions required with Virgin Media Business and T Systems additional resource is required to support due diligence/ definition and planning for the UK Network programme initially.

The client's network is currently outsourced to a third party (T-Systems) including all relevant parts such as WAN, LAN, WIFI, Telephony, Contact Centre, Security, Remote Access etc. Following an RFP process, the client has commenced negotiations with a preferred supplier (Virgin Media). Whilst negotiations are underway, Due Diligence activity has commenced with Virgin Media alongside Exit planning with T Systems with the intention of commencing exit from the incumbent supplier in Q4 2017, with completion by Q4 2018.


  • A minimum of 5 years direct project management experience in delivering projects to business focused users, including experience of delivering all aspects of the project lifecycle; working closely with and directing technical specialists and implementation teams at multiple sites in the UK and further afield
  • Understanding and experience of the business impacts of project delivery. An ability to both understand technical and operational requirements and ensure that these are communicated and explained to business users.
  • Wide experience of managing third party suppliers and resources is essential.
