Montash is currently retained by a Leading Financial Services Organisation who are seeking a Senior Reconciliation & Control Manager. The ideal candidate will have previous in-depth experience in a Reconciliation & Control position with a medium or large financial organisation.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a mature team of up to 15 consultants with hugely exciting plans to grow rapidly over the next 12 months. You will need to be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities to be successful in this role.

Desirable experience

- Knowledge of risk and control principles and previous experience of having applied these principles through an established framework(e.g SOX)

- Line Management experience

- Strong influencing skills and excellent stakeholder management skills

- Previous experience of financial services and relevant regulatory reporting regimes

The succesful candidate will build and develop controls frameworks that make sure the regulatory and internal reporting processes are being delivered effectively. This includes influencing projects that impact on reporting processes, championing best practice from the start.The regular stakeholders will include Group Transformation, including at project board level.

As a leader in their field this organisation is looking for a career driven individual who will receive a personalised development plan when joining the organisation.

Experience within the financial industry is desirable but NOT essential as long as the individual had previous experience in a regulated organisation.
