Job Description

 

Montash is currently retained by a global, industry leading consuorganisation and is seeking a Senior Account Manager to be based at one of their global retail clients.

This ideal Account Manager will have extensive experience in a sales environement and ideally a good understanding and previous exposure to BI and DW in a retail environement.

 

The Account Managerwill be part of the group's consulting practice and will work closely with other account managers and domain specialists to provide industry leading advice for global clients.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a high profile, influential team and has to be able to demonstrate analytical, technical and leadership qualities. The Account Manager have ownership over their work will have the opportunity to play a strategic key role in multimillion pounds engagements.

 

Desired skills:

 

The candidates MUST have knowledge of the Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse or Data Base Management System marketplace.

 

 

  • Minimum of five years sales experience. Track record on sales targets in at least three of the last five years.
  • Experience of selling into Retail accounts
  • Experience in selling complex technology solutions
  • Recent sales experience will involve selling to multiple departments, multiple levels within a company over a sustained period of six to twelve months.
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have experience in leading an internal team of technical, business and managerial resource over the entire sales cycle from planning through to execution of the order and post-sales support. They must demonstrate an ability to influence, coach and motivate others and promote teamwork.
  • Proven customer relationship skills, with experience in interfacing with customers, at Executive/Director level, on a regular basis.
  • Candidates will be comfortable working in a virtual environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
