Job Description

My client, a leading Global multi-channel retailer based in Amsterdam are looking for an IS-Retail consultant to join their team to grow and coach current employees and the business.

The Role

  • Identify opportunities for ICT improvement regarding the SAP retail applications, processes and procedures
  • Formulates proposals and contributes to the realisation of these proposals
  • Advises on the possibilities of SAP retail and POS DM/CAR, based on best practices and SAP Road Map
  • Responsible for the SAP retail processes architectural aspects
  • Manages, assesses and controls external partners
  • Acts as an intermediate between different stakeholders
  • Directs or participates in complex changes regarding existing and new retail processes in the SAP applications
  • Educate and empower key users with the knowledge and skills to enable them to provide better 1st level support.
  • Acts as the principle consultant, managing external technical consultants, during implementations and new releases
  • Coach external SAP retail consultants and insures proper design and realisation during projects

The Candidate

  • Up to date and available ICT and business information / knowledge and an established centre of expertise for retail developments in SAP
  • Enhance rules & policies and set up best practices and guidelines for deployment of retail processes in SAP
  • Control on deliverables from projects against the policies and standards
  • Ensure the integration aspects between SAP retail, POS DM, POS systems, Hybris and other SAP applications.
  • Effective ICT support: up to date, up to standard IS-Retail and POS DM/CAR applications for the business
  • Educated to bachelor level
  • Functional knowledge of Business Processes in a retail environment
  • At least five years of experience in complex IS-retail environments
  • In depth knowledge of MM & SD pricing in IS-retail environments
  • In depth knowledge of integration with POS systems (POS DM/CAR)
  • Good overall knowledge of business requirements analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
