Job Description

Montash have been engaged by a World Leading Client who provide Commercial and Personal Property Insurance across 50 + countries

They are looking for a Scrum Master who "lives and breathes" the agile principles. You will act as the "go to" person in terms of growing and sharing agile knowledge across the Company in order to establish a World Leading Agile Centre of Excellence around Digital.

Main Responsibilities include:

* Act as Scrum master for 1-3 scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards continuous high quality delivery and personal/team improvement

* Facilitate the main Scrum ceremonies - sprint planning, daily standup, sprint demos and retrospective

* Help the product owner to develop and maintain a well refined product backlog

* Work to engender cross-team coordination, where applicable

* Forge strong relationships across the larger company network to facilitate the removal of blockers / impediments

* Maintain relevant metrics to help the team, and the department, see how they are doing

* Coach and mentor other scrum masters to ensure a consistent and effective way of working across Digital

* Liaise between the Mendix developers and other IT areas (on/near and offshore) to optimise communication between all disciplines

* Continue to strengthen the presence of Digital as an Agile center of excellence, actively contributing to the company's Agile and Lean community whilst keeping the rest of the company network aware of our activities

* Ability to keep team moral at a high through the inevitable peaks and troughs of product development / implementation

Qualifications

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of the software development life cycle

2. Certified Scrum Master/ Practitioner

3. Knowledge and/or experience of Lean/Kanban principles and techniques

4. Extensive experience working in an agile environment

5. Knowledge and/or experience of Mendix would be an advantage or other rapid application development technologies

You will be based in the Heart of the City.
