Job Description

Montash are working with a fast-growing eCommerce company, seeking to build its Information Security team, to fill the position of Acquired Platforms Security Engineer.

The company has recently gone through it's IPO and is looking to continue expanding exponentially. With this, the company requires a Security Engineer to assist and advise on company acquistions from a security view point. The company is continuing to grow and acquire new businesses underneath it, expanding the information security function along with it, enabling great career prospects and prgression.

The ideal candidate will have either a platforms or engineering background, with good experience migrating operating platforms, and a strong security knowledge base.

The candidate will be required to fulfil a number of different responsibilities within the role, with a good knowledge of platforms, operating systems, engineering, analysis and security. The candidate must also have a strong management aspect, looking to progress to a management role in their future.

The role will have two main responsibilities:

-Sorting, supporting and migrating platforms of businesses acquired

-Advising from a security standpoint intended or proposed acquistions

The role requires excellent English and CISSP certification.

This role also involves (sometimes extensive) in UK travel.

Communication and an active and lively approach are vitally necessary, given the vibrant and community like approach of the client company. The candidate must be confident around other people, energetic and passionate about their role and industry, and willing to commit fully to the team and the task in hand.
