Job Description

Seismic Navigator

Montash are currently in partnership with a client for several Seismic Navigator positions (Chiefs, Operators, Chief Party Managers and Shift Leaders) with experience with Concept System's Gator navigation software. This requirement is for a project in the Gulf of Mexico.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Daily navigation & data acquisition functions of offshore vessels
  • Vessel & in-sea equipment positioning
  • Maintaining detailed logs of positioning, and the daily activities on the vessel
  • Adhering to all QHSE policies
  • Operating a variety of navigation software
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of crew supplies and groceries where needed
  • Assisting with the repair and upkeep of all navigation equipment
  • Generating both disk, and hard copies of navigation data to be shipped alongside seismic data.
