Senior BI Analyst - Financial Services - West Sussex - Up to £65,000

Our client a Global Financial Services organisation with a revenue of over $37 billion are actively seeking a Senior BI Analyst to join their Business Intelligence team based in West Sussex.

The role is central to the BI/ MI team and requires the ability to communicate with staff at a senior level, within the broader business community as well with all other BI team members.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience in a Financial Services environment with exposure of financial accounting and reporting systems
  • Strong SQL/PSQL skills
  • Understanding of the principles and methodologies of data warehouse development
  • Experience of working with offshore teams
  • Exposure to Cognos and QlikView highly desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and documentation of business reporting requirements.
  • Data and systems analysis of underlying source systems.
  • Production and presentation of reporting prototypes.
  • Support of existing reporting and BI provision.
  • Assisting in planning and prioritising work requests.
  • Producing detailed report specification
  • Process definition, implementation and monitoring to ensure appropriate best practices are followed.
