Senior Bi Cognos Developer - Belgium - Immediate start

Montash have been engaged by global travel organization, who are looking to acquire a Senior Bi Cognos Developer based in Belgium.

As a Senior Bi Cognos Developer, you will be based in the Product Development team is in charge of developing the company's Global Information Systems and maintaining them aligned with company's business needs.

The Senior Cognos Developer is responsible for developing Cognos (v10.2) reports according to specifications. The Senior Cognos Developer will be a member of an Agile Scrum Team.

Main responsibilities of the Senior Cognos Developer:

  • Express issues in a clear, consistent and understandable manner (written, verbal)
  • Liaise with the UI development team to undertake Proof of Concept/interactive design tasks as necessary to prove dashboards and reports will meet requirements and can be integrated in the User Interface package/custom layout.
  • Effectively communicate with the rest of the Scrum team (Product Owner, Developer, QA Analyst and Business Analyst).
  • Effectively communicate with the rest of the Scrum team (Product Owner, Developer, QA Analyst and Business Analyst).

Technical skills required:

  • Excellent track record (5 years+) with IBM Cognos (v10.2 a plus) suite
  • Proven track record (5 years+) with IBM Cognos (v10.2 a plus) suite
  • CSS and Javascript (JQuery)
  • Cognos generated SQL review / tuning
  • Experience in the travel industry would be beneficial
