Job Description

Senior Data Analyst (BI, ETL)

 

Montash have been engaged by a well-known organisation to source an experienced Senior Data Analyst (BI, ETL) to work on a large scale data migration. The Senior Data Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and edits data requirements and documents, working to client specifications and governance structures
  • Leads workshops to define 'as is' and 'to-be' data analysis and requirements
  • Monitoring of standards and procedures, providing revisions to ensure updated guidelines to meet changing demands and consistency across databases.
  • Applies data analysis and modelling methods to create, alter or maintain complex data structures
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues within databases and performing root-cause analysis
  • Create formal specifications for data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) procedures

Skills and Requirements

  • Excellent data analysis background: data administration, data warehousing
  • Good Informatica knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Oracle, OBIEE preferable
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Good knowledge of a range of programming languages and relational databases
  • Strong communication/stakeholder skills
  • Must be able to travel
