Senior Director Service Management - Manchester - Up to £100K + Car Allowance + Benefits

Our client an expanding Global Logistics company are actively seeking a Senior Director Service Management to join their team based in Manchester.

The Snr Director Service Management will be responsible for 4 key areas; ITIL Processes, Service Desks, Vendor Management and Monitoring & Reporting and will ultimately be responsible for the creation and running of these pan-European functions.

This role will involve working closely with stakeholders based in other regions and will involve travel to other European sites.

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience managing and developing a Service Management function in a fast-paced global organisation
  • Experience managing vendors and providers including outsourced Service Desks
  • Extensive experience managing remote teams delivering services across multi-site, regional & global environments
  • Experience presenting concise, well thought out proposals to executive IT Management
  • Experience driving significant change in an organization
  • Extensive experience with the Servicenow ITSM platform

Responsibilities:

  • Set strategies for IT Service Management (ITSM) that supports the strategic needs of IT and the business
  • Ownership of ITSM tools and platforms in Europe
  • Define and police SLAs and OLAs related to all ITIL processes in particular Incident, Problem and Change Management
  • Ensure that vendor managed, and insourced Service Desks are meeting the needs of the business and act as a point of escalation as required
  • Accountability for the performance of third party vendors and service providers
  • Ensure that new services are on-boarded in a timely and efficient manner
  • Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers and host regular service reviews
  • Own IT monitoring and reporting tools and processes across Europe and ensure that they are in line with the requirements of IT and business stakeholders
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards and communication frameworks
  • Management of budgets and external contracts up to a value of $5M
