Job Description

Job Specific Responsibilities:

  • Supports the strategic planning, annual budgeting and regular next month and in-year forecasting processes for GFS EMEA
  • Responsible for the preparation and analysis of periodic management reporting of financial results
  • Responsible for developing accurate, timely and comprehensive financial reports for facilitating management decisions
  • Review and research periodic changes in financial position and business metrics in such areas as revenue, functional expense, costing, income statement account details, headcount or AOF (Accounts on File) for variances and trends
  • Prepare financial analysis and reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested (ad hoc)
  • Research and resolve management and/or business unit inquiries
  • Provides on-going financial support to EMEA Shared Services (e.g. HR, Marketing, Facilities) and Functional Business Leads (e.g. Sales Training)
  • Develops and/or improves, maintains and documents financial reports, processes and procedures
  • Works on complex tasks and/or projects and initiatives
  • Routinely communicates with GFS finance teams relating to financial and system issues and deliverables
  • Provides Oracle Hyperion Essbase functional support, tools and reports to EMEA Finance teams
  • Supports and owns part of the Information Governance process (financial reporting master data set-up in Oracle DRM (Data Relationship Management)
