My Client is a technology provider that offers innovative and high-performing trading solutions to the foreign exchange marketplace.

Position Description

The Support Engineer will assist in the ongoing customer support, software monitoring, software release/maintenance, and QA testing of Lightning FX, Tradepoint's foreign exchange trading system

Responsibilities include:

- Communicating with customers during customer onboarding, product releases and throughout upgrade and issue identification/resolution process

- Troubleshooting issues that arrive, either through email, by phone, or trouble-tickets as entered by customers

- Quality assurance testing of new software features and bug fixes

- Working closely with the Tradepoint development team to resolve customer issues and manage client expectations

Position Requirements:

- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Working experience with:

o Foreign exchange trading systems

o The FIX protocol

o Linux or Unix command line/shell

- Pluses

- Experience with Atlassian's Jira

- Knowledge of Java
