Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

£50,000 - 60,000 Base + Benefits

An opportunity has arisen with a high growth financial services organisation that is renowned fpr challenging traditional high-street banks by offering a no-nonsense alternative, combining a modern approach with traditional banking values.

As IT Infrastructure Engineer you will be joining a growing team and playing a key role in the company's strategic growth plan, where IT Infrastructure is seen as key in enabling business growth. You will contribute significantly to the quality and development of the technology function taking responsibility as senior member of the team to support the technical lead and assist driving them and the infrastructure function forward as the company continues to grow, mature and invest in technology.

You will work collaboratively to implement new technologies and be a key person in strategic technical decisions affecting the bank over the medium and long term.

You will be accountable for all 3rd line infrastructure operations support and maintenance in relation to servers, desktop, messaging, storage.

  • Windows operating systems

  • Backup and restore- (Veeam & Symantec)

It would also be beneficial if the candidate where to have a theory level of:-

  • SQL server
