Job Description

Senior IT Environment Manager

Location: Coventry, UK

Salary: £60,000 - £78,000

I am currently working with one of the largest financial enterprises in the UK that is going through their biggest IT Transformation in their history. Due to the size of the transformation, experience in a large financial environment is a must.

My client is seeking an experienced IT Environment Manager who will be responsible for driving the deployment of software and hardware changes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a 'modern' environment and will be a key member in designing the roadmap for their transformation.

Currently the environment is 90% Waterfall and 10% Agile; and as such they are seeking someone that has extensive experience in a large IT Transformation.

This person will be responsible for building and managing a small team (6 people). This individual will be managing the strategic direction of the environment team across a variety of projects and programmes.

This is a very challenging role and as such we are seeking an individual with gravitas that will be able to communicate and influence Senior Managers and C-level stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience with both automated and manual testing techniques and functional and non-functional testing experience. Ideally in Windows, SQL and Unix Servers.
