Senior .Net Developer - London - eCommerce

Montash have been engaged by a Leading Digital Consultancy, who require a Senior .Net Developer based in there head offices in London for 3 Months

you will join an exciting eCommerce delivery project for a household brand in London. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary, Agile delivery team building a new exciting service , by taking ownership of all facets of software development.

Main Responsibilities for the .Net Developer

  • Designing, developing and delivering solution concepts in consultation with the team Technical Architect
  • Develop C# ASP .Net code for Episerver CMS and inRiver PIM
  • Work in the open and share ideas with the wider team
  • Present ideas confidently to senior stakeholders
  • Turn insights, observations and user needs into pragmatic solutions
  • Work quickly and iteratively within an agile environment
  • Appreciate and champion the need for well-refined user stories and tasks
  • Understand the need to avoid "over-quality" (gold plating) in the context of iterative, incremental development
  • Support the Agile good working practices of CI and CD
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients

Essential Technical Skills and Experience

  • Worked in an Agile team as a Developer and Tech lead
  • C# ASP.NET Software Development
  • MVC, WebAPI, Razor
  • Development practices: pair programming, planning poker, CI/CD, IoC, TDD, BDD, mocking frameworks
  • Software engineering: Capable of designing software solutions with DDD and SOLID principles
  • Version control (Git)
  • Experience with responsive web design and progressive enhancement
  • Solid problem solving and debugging skills, attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback from other team members
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
