Senior Python Developer
Montash - London

Role: Senior Python Developer

Location: London/Remote (based on personal preference)

Rate: £400-500 a day

Start: ASAP

Contract: 12 months

One of our big clients here at Montash are currently looking for 2 Senior Python Developers to join their team. This firm is currently working on a major application development project. The architecture for the platform (built in Python) is already complete, now developers are required as part of a continuous hiring process. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Python developer to join an extremely prestigious organisation known throughout the industry as a market leader.

As a senior Python Developer, you will have:

  • Extensive hands-on development skills in Python including developing Python modules and interfaces with highly responsive API's
  • Experience developing dynamic, feature-rich web applications using Django as a framework

Necessary skills:

  • Ability to write clean Python code that conforms to PEP8 standards
  • Working knowledge of Django
  • Extensive Python development experience
  • SCRUM Methodology and using Trello, Slack and GitHub

Desirable skills as a Python developer:

  • Experience of large scale systems / high availability systems
  • Linux platform skills
  • Experience of Ansible and writing Playbook or modules
  • Experience with front-end development frameworks, such as Twitter Bootstrap

Bonus points if:

  • If you have a scientific degree
  • More than a year's experience in this field
