Job Description

Montash have been engaged by a highly successful hedgefund company to source a Senior Quant with experience in Sungard Front Arena.

Responsibilities:

  • Configuration and calibration of Front Arena Models to ensure good quality PnL and Risk Numbers
  • Building and amending PRIME sheets as needed by users
  • Identifying and evaluating market data sources. Importing data into front area.

Requirements:

  • Experience dealing with Front Office
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
  • Ability to liaise with remote teams
  • Deep understanding of financial products, pricing and risk.
  • Degree in a heavily numerated area (maths, economics, physics, engineering or similar)
  • Good Knowledge of Sungard's front arena and related technologies
  • Knowledge of SQL would be a plus but not essential
  • Knowledge of C#
