Job Description

Montash have been engaged by a Global Client to source a Senior Technology Release Manager to provide direction in the design, implementation, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshootingof a release and release management process.

You will be managing the deployments in an environment that is currently relying on different technology stacks, deloping tools and procedures to aid the management of deployments throughout the development lifecycle.

Main Duties

- To operate, improve, develop and transform the client's release management procedures, processes, metrics and standards both internally and in preperation for a cloud implementation

-Ensure that the release management processes are developed further, continuously monitoring them and improving them to sure efficient optimisation

-Release management documentation

-Ensure that all projects maintain configuration audits; track, monitor and resolve discrepancy reports

-Create, build and release software packages for testing and release purposes in line with the define procedures and standards

-Be the primary liaison between functional groups for configuration and release management purposes

-Conduct implementation readiness reviews

Skills

- Agile experience

- Relevant degree in Computer Science or similar

-Stakeholder Management

-Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards (FCA, PCI, SOX)

-Experience working with CI development and test models

-Strong background working with release configuration management technologies

-VSTS or TFS

-Strong knowledge and working experience of GIT source code management

-IIS Server basic admin/Powershell scripting

-Basic Linux administration

-Understanding of LAN/WAN and wireless communications

-Development Management using php/.net
