Job Description

My client, a global biopharmaceutical giant are looking for a forward thinking, strategic candidate who can provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to assist the Commercial Data Management (CDM) functional service within the commercial IS part of the business.

The Role

  • Assist in developing the overall strategic direction around Data Management
  • Partner with EU business and functional teams to define and manage the needs of the business technology and the portfolio of delivery
  • Direct the IS Team alongside vendors in the delivery of data management services and solutions that align with EU multi-channel capabilities
  • Manage and develop a small team of data management architects and other internal and external technical resources responsible for delivery and support of Commercial Data Management business services
  • Effectively manage relationships with business clients, enterprise IS service partners and vendors

The Candidate

  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders - business and technology
  • Technical background within BI, Master Data Management
  • Good understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts, familiarity of data analytics and visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Proven experience delivering global change and transformation
  • Experience implementing Big Data and Cloud based solutions
