Montash have been engaged by a large pharmaceutical organisation looking to on board a Transformation Director/Head of PMO to be based in Frankfurt. The Head of Regional Program Management Office (PMO) provides decision support information and develops the project delivery mechanisms, ensuring that all business changes in the respective Business Services region are managed in a controlled way.

Responsibilities:

  • Based on the global project scope and goals define the detailed regional project scope, goals and deliverables that support BS objectives in collaboration with all regional stakeholders
  • Identify the expertise and skills as well as the talent required to manage the project on a regional level
  • Determine and submit budget and resources needed to achieve project's goals, get those means and get approval for project lauTranch
  • Effectively communicate project deliverables to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and ensure understanding and buy-in
  • Lead the project team in charge of the design and implementation of BS in coordination with the Region Head of BS and Global Head of PMO:
  • Set and track time line milestones and the detailed regional implementation plan
  • Implement and monitor the regional project governance incl. coordination of work stream
  • Prepare & facilitate key stakeholder meetings
  • Provide decision support information
  • Manage the Regional Process Managers and Experts (Employee Life Cycle, Purchase-to-pay (P2P); Customer Invoicing to Cash; Account-to-Report)

Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent understanding of a Global Business Services operating model design & implementation
  • Very good understanding of end-to-end HR, Finance, Procurement and Facilities Management processes and related Lean process management
  • Very good program and project management skills (Ability to identify problems and define solutions incl. implementation plans in a structured manner)
  • Good understanding of common Information System (IS) solutions used within the business
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Personality with strong management and delivery skills, focused on results
  • Very good communicator with an ability to discuss at senior executive level internally and externally
  • Fluent in English
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in support functions and 5 to 8 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • Track record of having effectively managed large transformation programs with a multitude of individual projects across multiple countries
  • Experience in working in a Global Business Services environment/ BPO provider
  • International background with exposure to multicultural environments
  • Experience in working as a Consultant on a comparable Business Services approach is a plus.
