Montash have been engaged by a Leading Company based in Portsmouth to source a Windows Automation Engineer to be responsible for producing the end to end design and delivery of the Configuration State Management and Automation Solution.

This role will include supporting the Design Lead in the design and build of the strategic tooling platform. YOu will be required to document design, and build and develop best practice to be used throughout the organisation

You will also be responsible for developing solutions to deploy and manage bespoke applications

Key skills

Skills Required

  • Experience in a DevOps engineering function
  • Proven experience of contributing to and building against Low Level Design
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering solutions to manage a Windows estate using one or more of; Puppet (esp. Puppet Enterprise) / Ansible / Powershell DSC or Service Now Orchestration
  • Proven experience wrapping COTS applications using Puppet or Puppet Enterprise modules
  • Experience using code repositories such as GIT
  • Experience using Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins
  • Strong communication skill
  • Detailed knowledge of Windows
  • Experience scripting with Powershell
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disparate teams

Skills- Nice to have

-Working knowledge of Linux
-Experience developing with Ruby
-Experience working with Service Now as an IT Service Management tool
