Windows/Linx Engineer

Montash has been engaged by a manufacturing company based in the Netherlands. The position requires to manage the worldwide server environment based on Windows and Linux (Redhat) in a 24/7 environment.

Experience

  • Professional experience in a server management environment
  • Experience on Linux (Redhat)
  • Thorough experience on Windows Server
  • Experience with VMWare management
  • Experience with Microsoft SCOM and SCCM
  • Experience with Splunk
  • Certified Redhat (RHCE)
  • Certified Microsoft (MCSE)

Personal Skills

  • Basic knowledge of ITIL
  • Good communication skills, good knowledge of the English language
  • Communicative and pro-active personality with a strong "gets it done" mentality
  • Ability to differentiate urgent matters from the not-so-urgent matters
  • Firmness
  • Decisiveness
  • Security awareness
  • Accuracy, precise, analytical, service minded and practical
